We're trying to take the kids to experience more trips & vacations, not tied to birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
For Our 20th Wedding Anniversary, we took the kids to Hawaii.
We had decided to hold off taking the kids to see Hawaii, until they were old enough to enjoy it. We ended up going with Oahu, because Jenn & I really wanted to see Pearl Harbor & the USS Arizona Memorial. We did cut the trip shorter on days, to offset staying at a resort (Hilton Hawaiian Village). Unfortunately, we should have cut it even shorter to offset the cost of eating in Waikiki, haha...
We did enjoy the Ala Moana Luau on our 20th Anniversary - lots of history & good food along with the entertainment. Spent a day touring Pearl Harbor/USS Arizona Memorial & Downtown Honolulu. We also went snorkeling with sea turtles.

We fly into Sioux Falls, SD & drove to Rochester, MN to visit Nina, Aaron, & Zoe.
What a fantastic trip - We spent a day on the Mighty Mississippi River. Aaron showed us guys around the area, while the girls went into town - which was apparently developed as the town to support the famous Mayo Clinic.
Everything was sooooo green - corn fields everywhere!!!

As part of our continuing quest for a possible relocation State to call home, of course Texas is the top of the list. We combined this trip to hit NASA for the Boys' 14th Birthday.
We flew into Austin, & drove to La Grange, TX - hitting Buc-ee's on the way (thanks for the head's up Jill!). The next day, we hit the road (& another Buc-ee's) on the way to Houston's Johnson Space Center. After a day touring around NASA, we headed to Galveston. With a hotel across the street from the Seawall, we did wander a bit & hit the Rainforest Cafe for the Boys' Birthday Dinner. The next day we drove west, through San Marcos, TX to a cabin on Canyon Lake. Finally, headed back to Austin for the flight home.

This was OUR first big trip together - a Tour of the East Coast! Another first - this was Roman & Tristan's first time flying!
We flew into Baltimore & drove through DC on our way to Virginia. We visited the family of one of my Cub Scouts from a few years back. We then ventured on to visit the family of another one of my Cub Scouts in North Carolina. Our next stop was Savannah, GA. We saw the birthplace of Girl Scouts & had dinner at Betty Bomber's (a WWII era themed diner). Next we made our way to visit some dear friends in Florida's Space Coast. We eventually got to WDW, where we spent a day in EPCOT & a day in Hollywood Studios (mainly Star Wars Land). We then flew home from Orlando.
My good friend of 25+ years that we visited in Florida, passed away two days after our return home from this trip. Reminder to spend every chance possible with those we call friend & family!
